Here's something to make you feel good (or me feel bad), I currently weigh in at 208. Kari and I are playing racquetball twice a week, but I still eat way too much.

That's great, Phill! If I may mix metaphors, I'm actually in the same boat and trying to go down the same road.

I'm curious about how you run (like, real running or a treadmill?) and how you divide those 18 miles over the week. I'm trying to develop a habit of "running" one mile every morning on one of those cross country ski type machines. It hasn't been long enough for me to make any noticable progress on the scale, but I have been feeling a little better.

right now, it's almost all treadmill. mainly because i don't know any pre-planned routes (and i hate running 'round a track for multiple laps), and when it snows/ices, the roads get really dangerous. i'm planning on making it all road-running when i get to jax ( ... )
