The Maybe Logic excerpts do show how bad RAW's health has become. I'm very glad he's managed to stick around long enough to see the new planet named for Eris. :)

In June Paul Krassner reported here that RAW was on his deathbed.
Fortunately, Bob decided it wasn't time to leave.
