You could totally use this as a stand alone piece. Mostly because I'm just jumping into it without having read the previous chapters. But it explains a lot without having to explain much. Does that make sense? And so saaaad. ;-; I felt so much more for Olivia with the quiet bit of sadness from this then in a lot fics where you get that "OMG ANGST!!!1111"

Thank you! It's really cool to me that you read this. I don't know how much you know about the series itself, but the fact that it touched you and you could understand it without reading the first six chapters is awesome. I tried not to be overly RRAAAARRRANGST because I didn't want it to be overkill, but Olivia is a very angst-filled/broody character so I have to try to balance it. If that makes sense.
