Maybe that's what everyone need. We would never know when it will interfere.
As you said, being in a relationship consumes time (you would never have time for yourself, family, work and sometimes even your friends). It's not as if I've actually experienced it but by witnessing how my friends behave when they're in a relationship. They whine when the boyfriend is busy with work, they spent a lot of money on phone bill, they barely finish their work because they can't concentrate on it and finally they'll cried when they broke up.
So, maybe it's better to fall in love after marriage. A person would give extra effort to know someone that they're bound to legally. They would not fret about pretending to be someone else because since they live together, the characters would definitely prevail (not even a professional actor can act 24/7). It has it's pros and cons.
love after marriage sounds promising. but then the feeling of not knowing the person you're gonna spend your (hopefully) whole time with is rather depressing, don't you think? but oh well, probably there're only immature people around me who think they're really in love when in the end it's all lust that's why i only think negative things about love.
surely i am waiting for my first love - real love to come as sweep me off my feet someday.
