How far is Frankfurt away from you? The exhibit is still here until the end of next month. There are a few weekends coming up. ;-)

Sometimes, exhibitions like these travel to various museums after they're done at a place. I remember the Murakami one that I saw last year had been at the Brooklyn Museum and some others before. So maybe keep an eye open for it?

I had seen some of his works before in random museums that I went to, but it was awesome to see so much in one place. :D

I love Botticelli. I saw some of his most famous paintings (like Primavera and Birth of Venus) at the Galleria degli Uffizi (had to stand in the rain for hours to get in, too.) If you ever happen to be in Florence, you should defintely check it out. I will never forget it.

They both seem so breath-taking! Before he painted the Venus, he painted several trails on canvases and they showed these. You could actually see how the Venus changed in stance and posture and hair color. It was cool.

I used to live in Rome for a while and one day we did a day trip to Florence but it was just a day. I had to decide whether I wanted to do city + architecture or the Uffizi. I chose the city back then but will definitely have to return one day for the Uffizi.
