Plan B: Sulking

It seems I've timed my birthday badly this year, since more or less everyone is busy or away. So I'm revising my plans a bit - largely I shall be staying at home and sulking. Probably with beer and games and DVDs. If anyone fancies coming over for a few drinks on either Friday or Saturday evening (or during the day actually, but do phone first in ( Read more... )

Pooh, sadly I'm one of the "away" people since my mum's 70th trumphs what ever youthful age you are choosing to mark... But I'd be there if I could.

Busy Fri night and Sat day, but free Sat eve.

No probs, it seems like most people are busy or away this weekend anyway, so I don't really have anything planned. Yep, I'll be in on Saturday evening, so you're very welcome to turn up then - especially with cake :D

Erm... does Treacle Tart count as cake? (if it doesn't, then some kind of chocolate fudge cake deal would be my second choice) :)

My definition of cake is quite broad - 'anything sweet I'd consider consuming with a cup of tea'. I think Nigel Slater has a Treacle Tart in his cookbook, if not, I'm sure Nigella can oblige...
