Since my birthday falls on the bank holiday this year, and incidentally clashes with my regular roleplaying game, I'm going to be celebrating on Sunday 24th. People came round. Beer was drunk. Gifts were received (thanks!). Stranger than Fiction turned out to be an excellent film (I bow before taika's wisdom). More beer was drunk. Treacle tart was consumed (special thanks to samanthas). All in all, much fun was had. Thankyou everyone :)

It seems I've timed my birthday badly this year, since more or less everyone is busy or away. So I'm revising my plans a bit - largely I shall be staying at home and sulking. It's my birthday on Friday, so I'm thinking of going out for a few drinks and a meal at 56 Oriental.
