My conducting final was on Tuesday. I conducted the wind ensemble in Eric Whitacre's Lux Aurumque. I actually feel really good about it. Lots of room for improvement, but for the first time this semester I felt like I kind of knew what I was doing when I was up in front of the ensemble

Ooh, that's a really neat name for a piece. "Light and Gold". And it uses the Latin -que ending. Neato! (Sorry, just remembering my Latin geekishly.)
