Haven't even started reading yet, but I just wanted to say, when I saw the two fandoms crossed over in this fic my jaw literally fell open and I stared at my screen. This is brilliant and I can't wait to see how you mesh the FE world with our loveable boys.

I knew there had to be other fans of both! Welcome to what is currently looking like a fairly small club.

Yeah there's not much overlap is there? Though I am going to try to get one of my main FE / minor Sherlock friends, who hasn't done much in the way of Sherlock fandom, to read this.

And, I wish you the best of lucking trying to get the intricacies of Tellius' culture across. :D

My primary beta is big on FE: this fic was essentially written for her. Knew it had to be more than just the two of us, though.

There's been a good amount of fun with culture warping/including, and I'm curious to see what a reader such as yourself will get out of this fic that a non-FE fan won't. Unit classes, abilities, weapons, so on. I know I'm cheating, putting Molly the shaman into PoR, but hey. (I went a little hardcore in that I even assigned everyone an elemental affinity. Giving John and Sherlock three pivotal conversations, though... Yeah, a few more than that. John currently has C supports with Mike and Bill. Bill is thunder, Mike is water, John is fire, Sherlock is heaven, Molly is dark.)

I don't know FE, but I love this. I have such a glee on, knowing that there is more to come. Woot!

Awesome. I don't know the game, so I'll have to google it to ease my curiosity, but I've got the jist of what's going on.

Lovely writing as always. Clicked as soon as I saw you posted something. Can't wait for more! Sherlock seems like a tragic character in this.

I've tried to clarify the details as much as they need clarifying. Hope it's making sense so far.

Thanks!

Intriguing start to the story! I'm unfamiliar with FE, although I'm getting a pretty strong D&D flashback (from back when a "video game" was a white dot that bounced from one end of the TV screen to the other). In any case, it's easy enough to follow along.

I love how unimpressed John is by Sherlock's deductions, because he assumes that it's just magic. I imagine that infuriates Sherlock. Looking forward to reading more!

FE is a bit more complicated than pong. Just a bit. The D&D comparison is legit.

In a world of science, Sherlock's abilities befuddle. In a world of magic, they make perfect sense. Too ironic to resist. Thanks for reading!
