What, are you trying to say something, yeah?*

I have more tag opens than my browser can handle without screaming, but again, no LotD on account of Exhaustion from Transportation. What that entails is my getting up an hour earlier than usual - and working on almost 7 hours of sleep - to catch the 8:30 am metro. Why? Because of the damn strike, that's why. ( A tale of woes. )

I've only ever heard "twat" pronounced by North Americans, and it's always rhyming with "caught." I don't think it's linguistic ignorance, I just think it's one of the many many differences between British and US English. To me, "twat" rhyming with "hat" sounds weird. Though honestly it's a word I hear rarely- it's only used in the vulgar sense over here.

Btw, the transit strike sounds sucky.

The funny thing is, I've never heard (so far as I can recall) North Americans ever say "twat". I honestly thought it was a strictly UK thing. But if it's used in both continents, then it must be an accent thing.

The transit service in general is sucky.
