Elegant fall into the unmagnificent lives of adults*

- Remember how I said I've never made a fandom fanmix? Yeah, that was me completely forgetting Soemthing's Not Right for Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). Which, I've just realized, totally fails at not having Tom Wait's What's He Building In There?- As for jobhunting? I can't do this anymore. It's been months and months and all I've gotten is ( Read more... )

WHAT DOES CHARACTER DO TO CHARACTER?!?
I gave up Greys after season 2, deeming it as totally stupid and worthless, but I still feel like I should know what happens.

Character 1: Man Whose Wife Was Unplugged As Per Her Legal Orders But Who Is Very Upset Over It
Verb: Shoots
Character 2: Derek Sheppard

The penultimate and season finale episodes were one giant bloodbath of Crazy Shooter Man.

For me, Grey's Anatomy is a sort of emotional masochism with a dose of some snarky characters. (Later seasons get new blood thrown in the mix - new interns, new residents - and the focus is more on them, so it gets better.) I've only just gotten into it - via serious marathoning - this year.

*gasp* They can't just shoot at the eye candy Sheppard! D: I am familiar with the concept however -- the House Season 2 finale consisted of a crazy shooter man episode as well, very believable, since there are bunches of people pissed off at House and all. ;P

*toys with the idea of starting with Grey's Anatonmy* I mean, I need a new series anyway, but I always thought GA had too little... grit, y/n? *shurgs*

I am spamming again. Damnit, sorry! D:

Think of the eye candy! (The two-parter episode was highly disturbing, though. Just...bam, you're dead. And you, and you and oh hey, you too.)

Grey's Anatomy is a fine enough watch. It's mainly an emotional rollercoaster or just plain "let's see how often we can tear your heart out" ride. On the other hand, it's got some really cool people. There's Cristina of the original intern team, who is awesome and seriously hardcore and cutthroat and says what she thinks. There's Sloan the plastic surgeon and manwhore extraordinaire. He's the McSteamy :) There's Torres the bone-fixing surgeon who is squishy and kick-ass awesome at the same time. And there's Miranda, the intern's supervisor and basically HBIC. Oh, and there's Papa Winchester (!!!) being all charming and lovely and awesome. And yes, Sheppard and his hair of win.

Basically, it's easy to watch if you disregard the constant OMG DRAMA. It's like House-light. The first season - which I'm watching now, because I do things in strange orders - is a bit meh, but it picks ( ... )
