Repost, to restart me...

So, after reading a bit o' fun-nessosity from man_size and digitante (both of whose FUCKING journals you should be FUCKING reading), I felt prompted to repost this, so it'll be fresh in my brain -- hah -- when I get back to work on it later on. It keeps shifting between screenplay format and story format...let me know if you have ideas on how to make up its mind ( Read more... )

ghost in a bottle, first draft, fiction, jimmy the spook, last shot

That's what I'm working on, as Serge and Mike and the Moon Turk do a small dance in a tiny room in the back of my brain. But I've also to shit out a Hometown Pantry true story...

Very very good. I think this is a fantastic set up. I can see your desire/confusion re: story or screenplay format. I say write it out story-wise first, but aim for the screen. This is a pure sci-fi thriller the likes of which I loooove.

You know, I think that's how I'm going to do it. I just got a copy of the Final Draft program, so after a few more pages, I should see how many minutes this bastard would end up being.

I also enjoy the "bad guy" for this story...

Script vs. novel sara_frankie March 29 2005, 03:45:30 UTC
If you changed it from a novel format to a script, would Dan have extended voice overs? If it was a voice over, it wouldn't need to be so descriptive... Just a thought. Love the story so far - the Hardline in the flesh :)
