I've not got a proper microphone, like, for my computer, and I've only got long-distance on my mobile these days--not on my land line--so the quality is quite dodgy.

Not a TERRIBLE story for having been written in less than thirty minutes, but...

On a side note--keeping in mind that a touch of gravitas was added for dramatic flare--does my voice sound anything like you expected it to?

I enjoyed writing that so much that I may have to start writing about the social ills of time travel in more regularly. The fact that the "machine" is as idosyncratic and mystifying as a working Russian car just makes it better.
