Sir Reginald was a fluke to begin with. I wrote a three-paragraph story that I liked enough to save the main character from.

This piece was fluff--albeit, one in which he sacrifices part of his life, and all to make a guy smart and rich--that I just decided to toss out.

You want pathos? Keep an eye on Horace.

But he's not infallible. He couldn't fix the blind girl.

Awesome. Until this moment, I had believed Sir Reginald to be a jackass, albeit an entertaining one. Now I realize that underneath that crusty, jackass exterior, lies a bleeding-hearted screwup like the rest of us. All without being remotely sappy. Bravo, Sir Benchi. Bravo.

Thank you, Admiral.
I hope I'm doing a good job of finding that balance.

If my Overreaching Arc That I've Only Referenced Once comes to pass, I think we'll see just how bastard Reginald can be...

Sweet, now I'm an Admiral! I shall purchase a funny Napoleon-style hat at once. Assuming I can persuade Cephy to live in it; he's very picky, you know.

1st time I had heard your real voice. It fits you. I was very happy to find that it wasn't all high pitched and whiney.

Speaking of high pitched and whiney...

I...no *finds happy place* I won't do that. I hate high pitched and whiney.

;)

IT'S DONE, ALREADY!

But, yeah, I, too, am glad my voice isn't high-pitched and whiney.

I like you.

I would buy your books.

And when my HBO series takes off, I might cast you too. :)
