it's so true. my desk is ALWAYS disorganized, but when I used to go home to Minnesota for the summer, I would go absolutely batshit if I noticed the DVDs were no longer in my meticulous alphabetical organization. my mom and sister would chuckle as I plopped my ass on the floor and spread all the DVDs out in a fan in front of me, putting them back the way they were supposed to be.
i just never got why they wouldn't keep it that way. it's not like it's hard.
And it's so impossible to explain that to people in any way that they'll understand. Popular culture has molded such solid concepts of what OCD, Tourette's, et cetera, are that people refuse to change their minds about them, even when confronted with the facts of an actual human being with those disorders.
Unrelated, I really appreciate your input and hope you'll stick around for more. What brought you here, out of curiosity?
Sometimes I think one of my relatives is in the autistic spectrum, but that's kind of a weird topic to bring up.
As for my Tourette's/OCD, I bring them up early in any situation where they're going to be seen. I figure I might as well get it out early, which also helps some people understand it, as they've never really encountered it before.
If this goes on any longer... and if these don't get collected into a printed medium... I'm gonna print these out and staple 'em and put 'em on my bookshelf myself.

You flatter me, Admiral.
If I still blushed, I would be doing so now.
Feel free to link to this from wherever you want! If it's more than the comic aspect of this, don't forget that the whole Fuckbrain tag leads to a myriad of explorations of my mental...situation.

Dunno. I think the fact that they force me to sit down and take a sort of mental inventory makes me think more about these things than I normally do.
And I already think about them a lot...

Funny but/and wholesome.
