A right word is gravel. Gravel is fabulous, magnificent, fun to say, and makes my brain feel good, practically giving me a good physical sensation as well. Crumbly is another good word, especially when compared with the last name of my friend Wes.

Crumbly Baumgartner. Say it out loud. No, seriously, do it. Tell me that ( Read more... )

It's a fabulous feeling, isn't it?
It's practically a sort of quasi-buzz feeling.

Did you try "Crumbly Baumgartner?"

For a while, some people called me Rabbi. That's because I was jewish. You have called me 'Dr. Joe' on occassion, which I am not opposed to. I refer to you as 'Reverend' not because you officiated at my wonderful wedding, but just because it seemed to fit you.

I have always wanted to get old and eccentric, and demand that people call me 'Admiral'. And dress appropriately.

By the way, when we pass through Champaign next week, will you be available? I would tell you when we'll be there... but that would be too easy.

I shall attempt to call you Admiral.
No guarantees.
And yes, I will be available.
I would tell you when...but that would be POLITE!

Oh, please, it's not so serious that I can't laugh about it.
Indeed, I HAVE to laugh at it.
But on the scale of NOT BAD to BAD, the word thing is NOT BAD.

From one of my favorite movies:

"You know what word I like? Nuance. You know where you stand with a word like 'nuance'".
