   God bless Constantine “Taki” Iatropoulos. He was a mad bastard, but we loved him.

Taki had run a lot of eating establishments in his life, from a high-end establishment in New York that used to have people like Zoot Sims and Dean Martin as regular guests, to a Weenie Wagon on the streets of Champaign, Illinois.

Awesome. Daniel Pinkwater-esque -- if you've read any of his autobiographical essays, you know what I mean. Chicago must be a kick-ass town.

One question: what's up with not ending any 'graphs with periods?

Hey, that was in Champaign!
And yeah, I love pretty much everything Pinkwater's ever written.
And that's only ONE story from there.
I was there for a loooong time.

and the periods was from me trying to fix the damn formatting errors that the new Rich Text input thing kept making.

My 'little' brother Kyle just mentioned how he missed the dagwood, ben and the crazy ass greek dude. followed by "Was he greek? or like from some small island somewhere"

He was from mainland Greece, but Mykonos is an island.

Yeah, I remember setting down Dagwoods in front of people and saying, "It was nice knowing you."
