Home From Wondercon. Finally.

And it was a wild ride. Thanks to all who came out for the con, as well as the Isotope show and not to mention how great EA was to Antony and I. Will update shortly, but in the thick of it right now, so will give you a taste of what I got up to...err...well, what I walked by at least, because I assure you, I did not go in ( Read more... )

Strippers who are also comicbook/game geeks? ....Now that's just too much to even think about. Who needs airhead bimbo models when you can have geek strippers! There's hope for male geeks everywhere.

PS: I am a geek, so I'm not actually being derogatory should anyone think I was. ;)

The "ladies" know a group of me who are likely to need to pay for sexual attention. Har har.

Are you implying the "ladies" that are in that "theatre" are infact, not "ladies" at all?

That would be...well, I guess it IS San Francisco.

Forgive me for being totally nosy, but I'm about to be totally nosy. Did you move to the States to work locally for IDW? I thought an artist of your stature would be happy/prefer to be a safe distance away from the mothership? What changed? I'm just curious.

Also, I'm sorry I missed you and didn't get to say hi at Wondercon. I left SF on Friday at the end of the GDC (Game Developer's Conference). There were lots of ladies making lots of money that entire week, I reckon.

I'm sorry our peso has sunk so low. It really is a shame, I'm ashamed. America sucks.

Please enjoy your new digs! I'm sure you're already aware, but just in case, here's some tips for SD living!

The greatest concentration of local culture and arts are in North Park, Hillcrest, and downtown/Little Italy (as you already know). Outside of that, SD is cookie cutter suburbia. Every exit off the 15 or 5 has a Target, a Walmart, and an Outback Steakhouse. Every neighborhood is white washed. So sometimes, you really have to dig for hidden gems of life in that town. But they're out there, and they're fun. So please enjoy!

I wonder how many of them walked by and said, "It's WonderCon, not WonderCom! If they can't get that straight, I don't need to bother going in!"
