Every time I drove past the stables on the way to school I though about how I'd like to ride a horse. I've been horseback riding on a trailride, and once at a school camp, but those weren't the same. School News
I'm currently Production Designer for "Ficus", AKA "The Psychic Lives of Plants", a 20 minute movie we're making at school. It's going to be a pretty intense couple of weeks for me to pull this off, depending on what kind of help I can get. I've finally finished that stupid DVD of the children's play (finished enough, but I might go back and tweak few things). That was the most time-consuming project ever. I had to do it all in so many small chunks because of hard drive space, and Premiere kept dropping frames on capture. I was up until 7am this morning, and then back at it at 11am. ( Read more... )

I won my case. Mad Science was pretty much forced to pay me what I was asking for. Today was just mediation, but if my former boss decided to take it to the next step, where a formal decision would be made, he'd risk being fined $500 if he was found to be in breech of the Employment Standards act in any way, which he pretty much was.
