*ahem*
Hahaha, seriously, this was so much fun and just as ridiculous as I imagined it would be while still being believable as a lighter little case file for the two of them and seeing Sam in his natural environment is always a plus. As is Sam getting the girl. ;)
Also, this?
"Sitting around discussing existential angst in postmodern poetry is really not my idea of a good time. I'd rather just eat the peach."
Made me die laughing. Who knew literate Dean was so much fun?
And Sam actively reading self-help while Dean gets sucked into a romance novel and Harry Potter and Alexandro's throbbing member and Lurlene Finkenbinder and Janet Evanovich and, oh. I love this forever.

Dean reading Harry Potter just cracked me up for some strange reason. I could totally see it being a guilty pleasure for him, with all the vanquishing of evil and kickass spells (although he'd probably be pissed about the whole prophecy/destiny thing, ha). Prufrock maybe not so much, but he had to take high school English, right? At least that's what I'm going to believe.
Anyway, I'm glad you liked it! Yay for random literary crack!

Your way of writing the boys is just wonderful - it all feels so natural. *tries to channel your bantering skills for her next fic*
Dean paraphrasing T.S. is brilliant, and oh. Touchy-feely self-help yoga crap! \o/
I love the image of Sam and Jess taking the piss out of romance novels. So cute.
"Okay, I'm officially weirded out," Sam says conversationally. Hee!
And the sexually confused cat! *glee* Seriously awesome that you managed to slip that into a fic. :D
It's the lamest salt-and-burn they've ever done AHAHA. Poor boys.
Also, Dean getting into Harry Potter is adorable!

And I'm glad you liked the romance novel stuff - making fun of them is kind of a hobby of mine, and all the random details are taken from actual books I've read and mocked.
And the cat! Hee. It was begging to be included in a crack fic.
I'm sort of ridiculously attached to the idea of Dean reading Harry Potter now. And the more I think about it, the parallels are kind of scary, with the Demon/Voldemort killing family members and prophecies/destiny...not to mention ghosts and spells and all. Hmm.
