Ooh, now I kinda wish I could've answered the relationship question about "Firefly," too! So much awesomeness there. I agree that the Mal/Zoe relationship is very refreshing in its lack of UST/romance, and that their mutual trust and respect is so very evident.

There were so many times where I had to stop and ask myself, "Wait, did I write this or did Vixen? Oh wait, I didn't pick Red Dwarf. Why didn't I pick Red Dwarf?" Hee! I miss Red Dwarf.

No, I've seen all of seasons one, seven and eight and a large chunk of the rest in bits and pieces, but they were showing it late night on BBC 2 over Christmas when I was struggling to sleep at my parents and I just thought "I haven't seen Red Dwarf in ages. I love Red Dwarf. I should get Graeme to bring his DVDs back next time he visits his place." And when I won a £10 gift voucher in the work post-Christmas raffle and season 4 was on sale at £10, I couldn't resist.

Huh. Somehow I got confused and thought you were talking about Buffy, not Red Dwarf. It's Buffy I'm watching for the first time through. Red Dwarf I started watching in junior high! And then I got the mister hooked on it while we were in England, gosh, 10 years ago this March, for our belated honeymoon. I used to own the entire series on VHS. I loaned it to a friend and it got melted. I haven't had the heart to demand a replacement. *sigh*
