Leverage 1.01

We watched “The Nigerian Job” earlier this week and I thought it was fantastic. It’s always a crapshoot to go back and start at the beginning when it’s a show you came into much later. But there was none of that feeling of trying to find its legs or figure out who these people are or even how the shots are going to be directed. It felt fully ( Read more... )

isn't the instant queue a thing of beauty? we use it via our xbox, and my husband and i recently finished watching s1 & s2 of leverage ourselves. and we watched from the beginning, but i've had a hard time getting into the nate/sophie of it all even so. i think the reason is simply that they do push it so hard. i like what their relationship does for the individual characters, how they personally evolve because of it, but i just wish they would back off of all those heavy-handed camera angles. sigh.

I definitely wasn't interested in the Nate/Sophie when I came into the show because I had no idea who this Sophie person was! I loved Tara immediately but had no Sophie baggage to make me resent her "replacement".

Yay Leverage! Great show. And you'll get season 1 in its intended order. When did you start watching? I can't remember if I should know this...?

Started watching this last season on the second episode of Tara's arc. So I guess halfway through? (They're short seasons, right?) Then when I found out it's on Instant I thought it would be fun to go back and see what I missed! I don't think I'll go through episodes very quickly though since I'll be watching with my husband and his spring break is over. :(

A little more than halfway through. There were 13 episodes of season 1, 15 total for season 2. Tara's second ep was 2x10, so now you have 21 episodes out of a possible 28 to watch if you want to see them all before the show comes back on June 20th with two new episodes. There's going to be two new episodes on June 27th, too. There will be a total of 16 episodes for season 3.

I figure since I've seen the end of season 2 I'll be fine when the show comes back in June. It's nice not to have to pressure myself to try to catch up by a deadline.
