...it's not all sweetness and light on the road to Iniki's recovery. She just gave me all kinds of teenage-rebellion crap about taking her prednisone pill.

And, perhaps unsurprisingly, she has very fishy breath right now.

The Vet appointment yesterday was not especially conclusive. They weighed Iniki again, and she came in at 5.4lbs. This would be extraordinarily disturbing compared to Sunday's 6.25lbs, if I didn't know that they'd pumped 200ml of fluid out of her chest cavity after weighing her Sunday. Iniki has taken little bits of sustenance when placed in her field of smell -- a bit of soft food, a bit of CatMilk®, that sort of thing. She'll drink, as well, so she hasn't totally given up on herself. This is good news ( Read more... )
