Percival had left the door cracked on purpose, and jumps in surprise when Jackie and her bike sail into his room, nearly dropping the vase in his hands. He isn't able to formulate a response before she exits and re-enters, blinking at the box, but finally stammers, "O-oh, you must be Jackie."

He sets the vase down and checks the contents of the box, smiling at her, "Nothing was damaged, i-it's quite alright."

"Oh, good," she sighed in relief. "I kind of...didn't take into account the fact that your room would still be full of stuff lying around. But that's okay! I mean, it's okay if all of your stuff is okay, and since it is--yes, hi, I'm Jackie." She laughed a bit at her own little ramble and brushed the hair out of her face.

"Maybe I should've given some warning first. But okay!" Jackie dove at the box he opened. "Here, let me help. I mean, that's why I'm here, anyway, I might as well get started."

She's certainly full of energy!

"It was merely books," Percival laughs, picking the vase back up and placing it on a small table against the wall. Once he's done that, he grabs a few books from the box and moves over towards the bookcase, putting them on the shelf, "You mentioned something about a...supergrill before? I am curious as to what it was."

Books are always good! She grabbed some herself, briefly wondering if he had a system to them--nobody ever liked when a system of organization of theirs is suddenly messed all up--before shrugging and sticking them on a shelf. "Um, it was a..."

How best to explain it without sounding, well, completely at fault?

"We were having a barbecue. An Independence Day celebration. A-and, well, I though instead of buying a new grill, I could just make a better one. Um...I have a bit of a habit of doing that. Improving appliances! B-but sometimes they don't work out so well? I'd been busy and rushing around and sort of did some stupid slip-ups I didn't catch before--and I would've, I know I would've if I'd gone over it--and it kind of...became a bit of a rocket. But in theory, it would've cooked anything in seconds! And I still have the blueprints for it, s-so if I ever wanted to try it again, I could."
