The elevator was probably not the place for a bike. But it fit, and Jackie liked to get to (or away from) places fast, so there she was, leaning on the handlebars and watching the numbers go until the doors slid open and she rode out.

The door was cracked open, which she completely took advantage of, careening in on her bike, coming to a forced stop when she ran into one of the boxes and nearly fell over.
"I didn't mean it!" was the first thing she cried, in case she had startled him (likely) or broken something (also likely). She clambored off and pulled the bike out of the room, leaning it against the hallway wall instead before meekly coming back in.
"Uh, I probably should've thought that through a little more..."
