Split Needles

Okay. This is . . . I didn't even open up a google doc for this. I'm literally typing into the post an entry box right now. I have no idea what will come of it. Guess we'll find out.

I loved this. You gave them their cake and let them eat it too, and the opening paragraph was magnificent.

Thanks! Not bad for a totally off the cuff, hour long fic writing binge.

I just wanna see them together again OH MY GOD. Preferably with Dean smoking, yes please ;)

My favorite line: I saw you. The three of you, in the kitchen. You were happy. There was pie.

YES SAM, BECAUSE THE WORLD IS THAT SIMPLE. *rolls eyes*

Thanks for this bb.

The smoking was totally a tribute to you (well, actually, a send up to Lilac City, as was the AA chip, but still)!

I love that Sam has been through so much, yet still holds some very simplistic, idealistic views (as evidenced by him just saying "Go to Lisa and the live the apple-pie life" in the first place).

I totally picture them swanning off into the sunset after this to go hunt wendigos while Lisa breathes a sigh of relief. . . .

I've been looking forward to ep. 22 fics... this one delivered nicely... It makes better sence that were 22 left off:)

Where 22 left off drove me nuts, and I knew since not long after watching that there had to be fic pointing out that, uh, Dean just going to Lisa's? Maybe not the best plan. . . .

There are others with a similar theme, you should go read them, as well!

Aw, yes! Cake and eating. I would be so happy if it turned out like this!

It is a tiny bit idealistic, but it isn't like it'd be oh-so-easy for him to fit into the "real" world.
