Wasn't this an awesome one?! I love Ben Edlund's crack ("But why am I here? For tea parties! But is that all there is!?"), but it was a real treat to get a serious episode from him. And I really love how the man deals with the religious stuff.

I keep having to remind myself whenever I watch one of his crack-ier episodes that he did the amazing Nightshifter and now this one. Yes. Ben Edlund. You are officially awesome. :)

Dean was about 20,000 new types of pretty in this episode, all broken and lovely... I think he sort of devastated me. This sort of compounds it.

You know, neither have I... I think because he's been trying to act galiant with odd emo outbursts... this is the first episode in which we seemed to actually see how damaged he is... part of me wishes they had shown us this sooner... and part of me enjoys how much I was beginning to feel annoyed with Dean because it just makes me love him all the more.

Dude! The military jacket! I now associate ALL military style jackets with Deano. And I was wondering though, how different that scene would have felt if he'd been wearing the classic leather jacket. I actually think they should have gone there. Even if he still look if off before the actual torture began, I think it would have been hella disturbing to see him like that in THE DEAN JACKET.

Also? His eyes looked like he was wearing LINER and OMG it was SUPER HOT!! What IS that?!
