Bottom right. It actually hurts me in my SOUL a little to see him so dead in the eyes, so completely defeated.
Well, that and he's tired of Sam. He can't stop Sam. Can't even guide him. Can't protect him any more. Can't even get him to tell the truth. Can't connect with him. Can't leave him.
This, too. This hurts. This hurts more than the apocalypse and Dean's Very Special Destiny hurts. It's all push from Sam and no pull from Dean anymore, and it's painful to watch. But what is he going to do? He can't leave. OUCH, STEPH. OUCH.
