I actually had a social life for the last couple weeks of the year and it was pretty rad. My birthday dinner was on the 17th, and it was lovely. Your dress is beautiful! Happy new year & happy birthday also! It really does look like you had a great time & I'm sort of envious, haha! I didn't have as much friend-time during the holidays but sometimes it's also nice to relax.

Hopefully things work out with Efrem, but I'd agree with you that at this point in time it would be nice to have that chat about where things are heading. And if he's super into you and says he wants to be your boyfriend, probably best to let him know right away that you wish he were more outgoing in his efforts to see you.
