Give me a pairing, and then give me an everyday setting (coming home from work, waking up in the morning, going grocery shopping, etc.) and I'll write a short drabble involving said pairing in said situation. Barry/Roddy, picking up the kids

Barry/Roddy - The Precious Hour - PG

Somehow they’ve managed to keep this hour free. Roddy usually has practise during the day and recitals during the evening. His life is a whirlwind of tour dates, fractious composers and his agent who wants to make Roddy the darling of the classical music scene. He’s lucky he has Barry who’s a proper, family orientated bear. He turns up wherever Roddy is in the city and whisks him away. Barry looks good in his suit. He works in a bank which Roddy would never have imagined in a million years he’d be good at but apparently Barry is good with money and doesn’t mind telling people that he’s foreclosing on their house

Sam used to hate parents evening as a boy. He was the only kid whose father never turned up and whose big brother went in his place. It wasn’t as if Dean just nodded, accepted the teacher’s feedback and then hurried them home quickly like he should have. Dean argued. Sam could still remember going red in the face, sinking down into his chair as Dean swore at Mr Hardy, his science teacher, because he’d given Sam a B and told him off for falling asleep in class. It wasn’t as if Sam had even liked Mr Hardy but he’d wanted to get on the man’s good side. Once Dean had intervened that was impossible

Wes finally gets a real place to live, not a hotel room. Travis helps him with the particulars, like picking out wallpaper. :D

Hinted at Travis/Wes - Colour Charts - PG

“Alex would say that’s a horrible colour.”

“Alex isn’t choosing colours with me, you are.”

“Then I’m saying that’s a horrible colour. No, man. You can’t have that.”

Wes sighed as Travis snatched the colour chart from his hands and started flipping through it. He would have thought choosing the right shade of wallpaper for his new apartment would have been an easy task. The last time he’d had to make a choice like this everything had been a compromise between him and Alex. This time everything was supposed to be just the way he liked it. Then Travis had stepped in and Wes was back to trying to find a compromise.

“I don’t see why you should have any say in this.” He muttered, grabbing the colour chart back.

“Because I’ll be the only one who ever sees the inside of your apartment. At least let me pick the colour for the bedroom, man. I don’t want to wake up to duck shell. It’ll feel like you’ve put me in Hospital...again.”

Thank you, honey! Travis is probably right that he's the only one who'll see. Wes never picks anyone up and Travis could easily worm his way in.

Adam/Michael, washing

Adam/Michael -'In the wash' - PG

Most of their clothes go in the washing machine along with the bed sheets and the curtains which need a monthly wash because otherwise they’ll be filthy with dust and other things. Adam still remembers that from his mom. She liked things to be neat and clean and well-kept. Adam was probably the only ten year old who knew how to strip down a bed and then make it again with hospital corners. Michael seems appreciate the order that Adam runs their home with. He’s always been good with orders, even if now he’s following Adam Milligan’s rather than gods and what Adam wants is him to put on a hot wash and make sure the colours don’t run
