The Domesticity Meme

Give me a pairing, and then give me an everyday setting (coming home from work, waking up in the morning, going grocery shopping, etc.) and I'll write a short drabble involving said pairing in said situation. You can ask for pairings that have already been requested, and be as creative as you want with the situations!

Adam/Michael -'In the wash' - PG

Most of their clothes go in the washing machine along with the bed sheets and the curtains which need a monthly wash because otherwise they’ll be filthy with dust and other things. Adam still remembers that from his mom. She liked things to be neat and clean and well-kept. Adam was probably the only ten year old who knew how to strip down a bed and then make it again with hospital corners. Michael seems appreciate the order that Adam runs their home with. He’s always been good with orders, even if now he’s following Adam Milligan’s rather than gods and what Adam wants is him to put on a hot wash and make sure the colours don’t run.

Almost everything ends up in the washing machine apart from a few things which are too delicate. There’s the t-shirt Adam was wearing when he was resurrected. It’s old and faded as has as many bad memories as good but Michael won’t let him throw it away because it was the first thing he ever saw Adam wearing. Adam washes it carefully by hand, worried one day it will simply fall apart no matter how careful he is but he still wears it occasionally when it’s just him and Michael in the house and Michael can never keep his hands off him at that time.
