Yeah, thanks. I have to come up with 250 bucks before May. I wonder how much you actually can get selling a kidney on the black market.

Wowzers! That is great news!! *tosses confetti* Now you need to have some kind of celebration.

My mom agrees, but we just don't really have the money to do much right now. She got laid off recently, so we're a little tight. Thanks for the confetti though. Maybe we'll have cake or something.

I'm sorry your mom got laid off. That can cause a lot of stress on the whole family. I hope she'll find employment soon.

As for a celebration, cake is always good.
Here are some alternative (or in addition) suggestions
- if the weather's cooperating perhaps a leisurely walk outdoors, maybe in a park or a modest picnic.
-if something indoors is preferred (or bad weather) maybe you could have a movie night at home in your honor (this way you can pick all the selections). Or maybe a board game night. You can do this with family or a close friend or two.

Thanks for the suggestions. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so outside stuff wouldn't really work (plus I'm more an indoors person) but we might do a game night or a movie night. That sounds fun.
Oh, and I think mom's chances are good. She's started applying to a couple of vet clinics and she's thinking about going back to school for business management. I think she'll be just fine.
