I've decided to close this blog. For pictures of Martin- refer to my xanga site or find me on facebook to catch up with me.

We've accepted a house parenting job and we'll be moving by mid-February! I have lots to do to prepare! We'll be over-seeing 6-7 boys in addition to our son Martin. The boys seem to be polite- although I've heard that they do squabble some. The property is nice and they have some nice pet animals too. I'll have to post more later about it.

I just signed Martin up for a swim class that he'll start this week. Yay!

I've had a bit of a battle on the medication called Metformin. I was prescribed 3 pills a day of the stuff and when I went on it all at once I started having bad ard and heart pain like I was having a stroke. I also noticed after being on it for about a week or so that I was extremely forgetful. I couldn't remember more thana couple of items ( Read more... )

My brother arrives later tomorrow and the actual work on rebuilding the kitchen will start on Friday. I'm going to have ceramic tile floors, all wood cabinets, and the best part.. a DISHWASHER when it's all said and done!

Yesterday we had a visit from a Navy Seal recruiter. Bill had looked into becoming an officer online. The officer said that they had trouble contacting us by phone so he payed us a visit instead. I never saw so many medals on a uniform in my life! The man was very informative and polite. I don't think that Bill is going to join the navy but it ( Read more... )
