I love room/house tours! Thank you for posting this! And Kanika is gorgeous!

Also, my cat refuses the fancy scratchers as well so I'm glad to know Mimi isn't the only one with specific tastes. ;)

yeah, I think it's that the mid-grade ones aren't sturdy enough. I just went searching and now I want to try one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Petlinks-System-Mix-Scratch-Ramp/dp/B009JD9WSK/ref=sr_1_48?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1407823861&sr=1-48&keywords=scratcher+sisal but I'm hesitant to spend more than $20 on something that may never be used, againnn.
