Drumming and drum circles have been an inherent part of my group and solitary practicies for almost a decade now...the rhythm, the deep, cosmic pulse and heartbeat of the earth...it's pure magic in its deepest form, I think~ :) I totally resonated with these images and with your joy~ <333
(I actually wanted to tell you...on the way home from bellydance class last night, I was listening to one of my favorite CDs...my last drum circle leader burned it for me of a HUGE drum circle he lead once for World Peace Day...or a day something like that. ;D Would you like a burned copy of my burned copy? This looks like it was such a moving experience! There were drum circles every full moon back in Santa Cruz, but from what I've heard it was just a giant drunken/stoned party. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I was way more interested in the drumming and the dancing and the fire. *sigh*
I still can't believe this place is stuck in the middle of houses, busy streets, and city life. @_@ I'm so sorry I had to miss it this time, but next time I'm going to try my best to attend - it looks amazing. <3
