I didn't know there were any get-togethers like that down here. I've been to drum circles, but by the looks of it quite a bit smaller. Hmm, would you mind if I tagged along to another if you go? Be a bit of a drive from here no doubt, but well worth it.

And yes, the energies at those are always so incredible, I'm sure you can see why I'd miss it! :)

I've only been to one drum circle, and would love to go to more. The one was out in the country in a pasture and no artificial light, just a fire. It was an awesome experience. Sadly the person that organized it stopped after that one due to her mom's failing health. When we buy acreage and settle in our homestead, one requirement is space to host drum circles.
