That drum sounds gorgeous! I tend to think that music is something very basic that we humans do, whether it involves banging things together, blowing into openings, twanging bits of string and such. Everything else is just fluff. Don't get me wrong, I am very, very attached to some of that fluff, but I absolutely hate to see anybody being put off music because of the rigour surrounding particular classical instruments.
