hee hee ♥ I took bellydance for a while a few years ago, but then my teacher quit and I haven't been able to find another who was close enough and inexpensive enough :-p

ohhh, you should totally take them if you can! :D bellydancing helps you connect with your body in a way nothing else does.

Oh.. Wow, what an absolutely mesmerizing ethereal and sacred sound, the hapi seems so right for you, and even more with the dichroic glass center - it seems very destined for you to find it! I am so glad you're finding strength again through exercise, I started walking every day a week and a half ago and I hear you on the increased breathing

*health and energy*

Drums resonate really well with me too. I actually want a bohdran myself. The Hapi drum has a extrememly petty and, I dunno, visionary sound to it. I hope it doesn't take too long to save for your drum!

I hope it doesn't take me too long too, haha! ;-)

African drums are my thing. I discovered this when I took some African dancing lessons where they used real drums for the music. For years I thought I wanted to play regular drums. But like you, the structure really bothered me. Plus, African drums are so primitive and intuitive they really resonated with me. I want to get an authentic one, but it is something I have to save up for because authentic ones are expensive, but worth it ( ... )

oh, yes indeed! I love the sound of those too.

hmm, interesting! It makes sense too.

Well, I have been interested in yoga, but that feels like something I would want to do with someone, and in a structured way. By core strength I mean lower back, abdominals, hip flexors, and external obliques, all of which would be worked out by sitting on a balance chair, and I would also be able to use it while doing things on the computer. I think yoga will have to wait until I have someone to do it with, I just can't motivate to do it alone.

yeah! I definitely do enjoy dancing ;-)
