Today was very strange... I woke up early and called Kristy, wanting to plan something for this morning, and discovered that Rebecca was planning on doing stuff with her this morning (despite the fact that she had Kristy to herself for the whole evening, the best part of the day), which made me so furious I screamed. Maybe she is emtinally unavalible for whatever reason right now. She say that she's been in therapy and that you think she's healed but maybe she's just hiding from pain. Sometimes when you internalize your pain to much you have to disconnect from yourself for a while in order to sort it out. If that makes sense. I had actually just written an entry sort of about that but I decided not to post it. Interaction with people can't always be the way we want it to. Sometimes we just have to wait it out a while. Maybe she's going through a time in her life where she can't be as close to people as usual. That's just my guess, I'm relating from my own experiences but maybe the insight would help.

You are probably right... thanks for pointing that out. I needed to realize that whatever it is isn't forever.

I know what it's like to not feel emotionally connected to friends anymore. When I decided to change my life around and get sober I pretty much had to cast my friends aside because they just made it harder to get clean because they were still using. Sometimes people outgrow each other unfortunatly. I hope things between you two get better.

I wish I had a pearl of wisdom that could make you feel better, but unfortunately - despite the number of times I've been in your position - I haven't really gained any insight. :-/
