1. Can I just have a little bit of a grump that it isn't on Fridays like last year? That was so great! I got to watch it Saturday morning, literally (literally!) five minutes after the broadcast. Never mind that I used to have to wait months, now I am cranky about having to wait a whole day.

6. I was musing on this recently; I think Tariq might actually be the spiritual successor to Danny (both techies) and Ben to Zaf (both good at undercover).

Yay! I do so hope it's true, but it's kind of hard to tell at the moment. I never thought I'd be so excited about getting to know the new characters but basically all I want to happen in 9.02 is Ruth and Dimitri to speak Greek to each other. (Seeing as we were cruelly denied Ros and Lucas ever speaking Russian.)

2) HE SO DID. HE SO LIVED. And that scene with old HS was brilliant, as I have mentioned before.

4)That's where I remembered it from! Danny having to kill a guy on a boat while Zoe is seasick and Malcolm and Ruth are singing choral music somewhere in London. RIGHT.

5) I KNOW. That end scene. Ruth always makes me cry with her heartbreaking perspectives on spy-stuff, honestly. "I think we've forfeited the chance, for that life, Harry." OH, stay like this always.

6) I don't know if I like Beth. Too smug? Hmm. I do like Dimitri (speaking Greek, wooh! Getting beaten up a lot, wooh! He is quite lovely looking as well, so. )

7) YOU DIDN'T LIKE THE ORANGE SWEATER VEST?! lol. It provided the only bit colour on the entire grid, so I welcomed it with open arms.

8) I sort of care, but I also would like it to stay ensemble, because that's how it's always been.

I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE WITH ME ON THIS. I mean really, after Ros's first funeral, who can take her funeral seriously any more? Her and Andrew are clearly hanging out on a tropical island somewhere. I am so content with this idea that I don't miss Ros at all.

Oh my, 3.05. Ruth and her poor dream man being awkward and singing beautifully! Zoe and Will being too gorgeous to exist! Danny silhouetted on the deck of the ship with Mozart's Requiem! Goodness I need to picspam that episode or something.

Oh, right, Ruth was after that guy (and Malcolm was posing as her brother)! Hah, I never liked Zoe and Will (that is to say, I didn't like Will), but Danny on the boat was amazing.

Ruth's brother Giles, oh my. Rewatching that actually made me want Ruth/Malcolm.

You didn't like Will? Was that because he put ketchup on a piece of bread? That scene never fails to have me in giggles. I think I just have a weakness for anything/anyone that makes my spies that happy, to be honest.
