i am so very sorry. if my magic wand could fix it, rest assured, it would be fixed.
what amazes me is that everyday drunk drivers fuck up the lives of happy, law-abiding citizens and while they almost always seem to get away unscathed, those they leave in their wake continue to deal with the mess for years afterwards. it seems that you are one of those left behind to deal with the fallout.
there is no justice in this world.
