For Sale: One Ford POS

Once upon a time I had a shitty little Prizim. It was about 6 years old, had over 100,000 miles on it, dings dents and scratches a plenty. It had good old fashioned manual roll down windows and took at least 10 minutes to cool you down to 90 in the summer. And I never had to put more than an oil change or tune up into it. But an asshole thought it would be a good idea to drive home after hitting the bar and I never got to drive my little car again.

Enter my snazzy little Focus. Less than 5 years old, I've owned of just over 16 months. Power everything, roomie and good gas millage. About 70,000 miles and completely paid off. And for the third time in less than a month I'm sitting in my local Firestone dumping hundreds of dollars onto it. First it was the A/C ($600). Then the battery and alternator ($550) exactly one week later. Now, exactly two weeks after that (one of which was spent in Maryland thank you) I'm sitting in the lobby, this time waiting for them to replace a plug and a cylinder of some sort ($450). Soooo, about $1,600 and 9 or so hours later... Here I sit wondering what's gonna break next. Should I just trade the fucker in at this point? Or am I in deep enough that I ought to just wait it out?

mad, car, rant
