Susan Archery Dress Fabric

It's 4:30 a.m. and these fraking medications are playing with my circadian cycle. Meh. Anywho, I figure if I have to be up, I might as well post about how the dye job came out of the fabric for the Susan Archery dress. I bought a lovely olive green corduroy with a really thin wale. (I think this kind has a special name?

A really thin wale is called a pinwale corduroy, but I don't know where the threshold is. It's measured by wales per inch, so I'm sure there's some number where more than that is pinwale, and some numbers that are just corduroy, and some numbers that are wide wale, but usually I (and most people I know) just eyeball it. If the wales are thin as a pin, it's pinwale. If they seem bigger than usual, it's wide wale.

Aha! That's what the lady at the store called it. I couldn't remember. So I guess it's a pinwhale then. Thanks!
