Nino had come in that morning hoping for something better than they'd been getting recently. As nice as it was not to run around all morning, one could only stand there so long before standing got boring. And he liked doing his job. Snow storms, it seemed, made mice out of everyone ( ... )

That... was not the same girl that seated him. Actually he was pretty sure that wasn't a girl at all. Nope~ It wasn't. "Oh, it's no problem at all~" he grinned "Actually... you wouldn't happen to have tea, would you? Not the cold kind."

Of all the things the body could reject it chose to reject his stomach. To be honest though he was alright with that. None of this food smelled half as good as a nightmare would. Especially a gore nightmare with blood and decapitated limbs. He stopped himself at that thought to keep from getting too excited. But it wasn't like he hadn't tasted solid food before. So long as he didn't swallow there wouldn't be complications. Then again if he did that in a public place like this they'd probably all assume he had an eating disorder. What a pain.

"I actually have an idea of what I want to eat already, but a recommendation on your soups would be really appreciated~"

"Tea we have," Nino said. "Herbal, black, and green. My favorite soup is the tomato bisque, but most of my friends like the potato-leek better."

As he spoke, Nino tried to get a read on the boy-looking-something without being too obvious. But nothing was pinging in his mind. All he got was silk threads, and now that he was closer, dark. Dark like night. Silk threads and night.

"Of course I'm obliged to tell you that they're all excellent," he added.

"Alright then the... black tea." He gave a nod. How was he going to do this? Skin... where are skin showing...? Face? Neck? Ooooh. That would be awkward to touch there, huh?

"Mmm... This is gonna sound odd... but can I get the potato leek soup... with only the broth~?" he beamed up at the other. His mind was set on branding him again. Eyes scanning for skin again--hands. Hands would be the least awkward.

He could wait. He definitely had time. However now that he concentrated so hard on the other... there was something there that definitely not human. And on top of that it was a completely new feeling. That says something when you're 160 years old. He was an american magic thing. How exciting! He was definitely going to mark him. One way or another he would manage it.
