My friend went to see Guy Flanagan in theatre and happened to bump into him in the bar afterwards and chatting to him. She gave me permission to post a link to her post about it since I thought people here might be interested.

Gushiness aside...sweet holy lord this sucks. I cannot believe the part has been recast and given to someone else who isn't Guy. He was perfect for it.

And Annie! Oh no, I loved her as she was. Sad news.

that is horrible news. i watched the pilot and loved it because of those three and the chemistry they all had. to have someone else - it's just not going to be as good.

like the true blood pilot had a different actress for tara and i quite enjoyed her, the one now isnt nearly as good as she was. :(
