My little camera is AWESOME! I'm not skilled at holding it still for long enough yet, but I'm going to use it a LOT so I'll get practice ( Read more... )

Oh, that's great - thanks! I'll definitely try that. On my own, I was ok when I first hit the button, but it waits a sec before it beeps. It's a keychain camera that doesn't even have a flash, so it's gathering that light the whole time I'm wiggling. :) Thanks for the pointer!

Thanks! Pretty low res, but I LOVE that I can take them now!

Who KNEW you had such green thumbs???? I knew you had planted some flowers, but Wow! They are just beautiful, Cristy. By the way, that particular talent comes from the Shannons, I assure you. I will never forget how dazzled I was by all the fruits they grew. And Alma grew her own vegetables and canned/froze them. She was amazing. I'm so glad that you picked up on that gene! :D I wish I could see your flowers in person, but the pictures are beautiful! Love you bunches!

Um, I hate to shatter your image of me being all garden-y, but my green thumb lasts about as long as daffodils in Spring. Like 2 days. :) Literally! We have a few days right as the snows are stopping in March or so that the weather is perfect to go outside (it's like God' giving a break from the rain, which we get CONSTANTLY, just so we can plant the stuff that'll grow in the next sweep of rain we get :) ), and I literally spend all day those few days weeding the heck out of the ground where I want to garden, buy and plant stuff and place mulch in the areas I'd LIKE to not get weeds. :)

I've pulled a few obvious dandelions from the front of the wildflower section, but other than that, I've not touched the stuff! Really! So, I can take credit for choosing what to plant and actually planting it, but maintaining is not part of my skillz. :)

I wish you could see them, too! They're so cheerful! And, my butterfly bush gets bigger every year! Love you!
