Happy New Year, Everyone!

So, to sum up 2009, here are:

A Few Accomplishments

  • Paid the car off
  • Got migraines/triglycerides/health/medicine under control
  • Tom kept his job and is becoming more and more valuable to the company and his department (they had some layoffs, so that's always a worry, but he's done great)

    Absolutely the best thing I read this morning! I think it is wonderful how you have found the positive things in your year. It's not like things have not gone wrong and you haven't worried about them, but you always try to turn it around and see the good. (Even the monumental "They returned it without any corrections." fiasco. :) I think the quote from Tom was soooo sweet! I'll say it again, I am so glad you and my brother found each other! And I am so glad to have you for SIL. Happy New Year!!!

    Just a very short question and it is a genuine question, I'm not trying to point out an error:

    Isn't this quote:
    "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so."

    supposed to be:
    "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination NOT to do so."

    (I'm asking because if it's the second one, which makes more sense to me seing as it's D.A. who said/wrote it, I'm going to use it in an essay :P)
