First, B&N is having a massive sale, and Amazon is price matching, so if you see something you're interested in you can get it for Kindle for the same price. Sorry, Kobo users. I do not understand how their sales work.
Second, I am mad I ran out of time to do this post this morning, because I wanted to share this article on a new imprint that's going to be republishing old YA. My mind instantly went to the Sunfire novels as a thing I would dearly love to see republished, and also the Meg mysteries that my mom read when she was growing up. What about all of you? Anything that you want a copy of that doesn't exist anymore? MAYBE WE CAN GET THE UNGETTABLE MADELEINE L'ENGLE BOOK THIS WAY.
What I really want is this old dime store novel called the Silver Seven about a girl who moved from Madison to the northwoods and ended up doing figure skating on a mill pond.
I'm excited for this month's book! I've been wanting to read Kearsley for a while now.
Also, we're starting a massive Madeline L'Engle read at belovedbooks. Come join us! We're kicking off two weeks from tomorrow with A Wrinkle in Time.
I read the last of the Kelley Armstrong YA Otherworld spinoff. Originally, I read there were going to be three trilogies, but I guess that changed somewhere along the way. Anyway, I liked how it ended up and would be very interested in revisiting that aspect of the world, but I'm not sure how much I liked the book as a whole and how much Armstrong's writing just WORKS for me.
Can you get to this link? That's Winter Sea for me, but it's telling me your link "is not currently available for purchase," so this might be a Canada vs US thing.

I really don't remember enough details of many, sigh. If only I had a GoodReads when I was a kid . . .
OOOH. That sound familiar. (As in, I've heard about it, not I magically have my hands on it!)
