I totally understand how you feel. I often disappear from here for extensive periods of time, because I gather that people are not interested in reading depressive posts, and there is generally nothing good to say. Coming back is always odd then, because either one has been forgotten, or one feels guilty.
As for reading, I cannot miss the opportunity to pimp my favourite series of books, the Wraeththu chronicles by Storm Constantine. Especially because it is,...well, different :)
Yes indeed, depression at it's finest. Most likely what is needed is medication and therapy. Medication so you can function normally while you work on issue(s) in therapy. Nothing wrong? I beg to differ. It's not 'normal' to be depressed. Either some event(s) are causing it or it's a chemical imbalance. Well, it's always a chemical imbalance. It just depends on whether there are social issues causing it or your brain is simply not functioning right by putting out the right chemicals. Depression is serious. It's never funny. What you do by watching One Tree Hill and reading is escaping into fantasy. Reality is too hard so you run away. When you're ready to step out of the darkness, seek help and be well. Too often mental health is taken for granted. Don't take this for granted. Do something constructive because whether you believe it or not, watching One Tree Hill and reading is a destructive behavior pattern

We are very much alike :)
The classics. I am a sucker for literature from 1500-1900
