Perhaps it was an ulterior motive to get us to drink more to stay warm but our designated area was near Trinity Hall’s entrance, a.k.a. “the wind tunnel”. The pub was packed with lots of groups including a dance school and some large family birthday party with a few rugrats. Kids shouldn’t be in a bar, period, but at least they were in the back.

People forget that Trinity Hall has all the big games, including American football. Due to the Cowboys game there were about 30-40% less people at the pub last night. This made things more relaxed than usual for all involved.

The drunken moronic braying of U.S. Soccer fans [really any fan of U.S. Soccer is usually both] totally besmirched the evening. Any little thing that happened during the game was magnified by the crowd’s primate displays.

This made the June 1759 Society Meeting sucky for a while.
